The Punishment Of Jerusalem Could This Also Be America Now

The punishment of Jerusalem was because they would not listen in fact even rebelled against God. My question, is the same thing happening to American. Ezekiel 5:5-9 (NKJV) 5 “Thus says the Lord God: ‘This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries all around her. 6 She has rebelled against My judgments by doing wickedness more than the nations, and against My statutes more than the countries that are all around her; for they have refused My judgments, and they have not walked in My statutes.’ 7 Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have multiplied disobedience more than the nations that are all around you, have not walked in My statutes nor kept My judgments, nor even done according to the judgments of the nations that are all around you’— 8 therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Indeed I, even I, am against you and will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations. 9 And I will do among you what I have never done, and the like of which I will never do again, because of all your abominations.

Could this be a word to America as well? These words in verse 8 hit me hard “‘Indeed I, even I, am against you and will execute judgments in your midst in the sight of the nations.” Could that be the problem with American the people have turned away from God. This country was founded on Godly standards and has drifted away not sure were they are headed but it is not towards our Father.

The Bible tells us to obey the laws and render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s. That confuses me some because this country is FOR the people, OF the people and BY the people and it seems to have lost its direction. We, as Christians, have set by and watched the enemy take over and slowly destroy Christian values.

The government was designed to work for the people not against the people. They have lost contact with the people and greed has set in. Our President is trying to restore us and I do believe he was put into office by The Lord. However is there enough backing him. As Christians we need to be standing with and for Godly ways.

Also verse 6 “She has rebelled against My judgments by doing wickedness more than the nations, and against My statutes more than the countries that are all around her; for they have refused My judgments, and they have not walked in My statutes.”

I have read and studied and I get different figures however in the area of 510 years Israelites were in captivity. My first question, in my mind, was why. Putting it in Jym’s mind “stubborn”. Moses went up on the mountain to receive the 10 Commandments and they could not wait they gathered all the gold and built a idol to worship. So here again am I wondering if our Father would do that to ones He loved deeply what could and would He do with us here in American.

I am not predicting any thing I am just saying. Is he actually tired of us playing games? Is he letting America run its coarse? He has given us all the tools we need yet games are played to get rich quick and fool others. Some have been taken home and some are here and I believe and I repeat I BELIEVE that we had better shape up. We have the Bible we have the tools. The question is are we using them as we should?

This is not a game there is no restart once it is finished. The restart is right now:

If one is lost and does not know about the saving grace of Jesus they need to be told and shown.

If one has backed up and turned away from the Lord and needs to repent.

If one has doubt or has not enough Faith. That one needs to be helped… That is being a Christian going to church on Sunday is not being a Christian. Being a Christian is walking the walk and talking the talk ALL THE TIME!

There are three things that can be addressed right now however one can not wait until one stands before our Lord and Savior to decide it needs to be done right NOW!
