Morning Prayer For Friday May 3, 2019

Morning Prayer– Why do we do them or do we do them? I asked this question yesterday and got a few responses. Thousands of followers and less than 25 responses. The fox is in the hen house, he has been allowed to walk right into this Nation, our churches even into our LIVES. And it is time to put a stop to it. A while back I asked how many would be willing to pray twice a day for ONE MINUTE. Well now I am asking again and I am asking that you sign this prayer saying just that.

We wonder why our Father is not answering… Well maybe, just maybe he is responding we are just not listening. When our nation is brought to her knees, due to the fact that we do not have the time to pray. When there is no food, no heat, no gas, for our cars, and there is nothing left to do but PRAYER! Maybe then we will listen to Him.

We have quote unquote christians saying homosexuality is alright. Abortion is alright. One of the reasons I did not believe for years was the bar I played music in 2 quote unquote, christian leaders would came in and get so drunk the bar would have to call a cab to take them home. I thought if they are no different than me then why do I need to follow the god they are following?

And yes we are being watched and what are the lost saying about us? Are we giving them a reason to change or are we showing them nothing? Are we being a good respectful example of our Lord? I know the ones that will respond to this statement. I am not talking to you I am talking to and about then ones that claim to be Christians and WILL NOT take two minutes out of 1440 minutes in a day to pray for this nation!

And then we wonder why our Father does not answer us? Maybe, just maybe, He is but we do not have time to LISTEN. We are so wrapped up in us that we do not hear what He is saying or He is saying something we do not wish to hear so we ignore His response. I believe one day there we be some instant replies of Him answering us. And us ignoring the answer because it was not what we wanted to hear…

This is where the wide gate and the narrow gate comes in to play and these words are spoken Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV) 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Then one will here and understand Matthew 7:13-14 (NKJV) 13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. My question are we part of the few?

I am not a gloom and doom preacher, however, this needs to be said. The words of and old country song “You got to stand for something or you will fall for anything.” Truer words have never be spoken. The falling part is coming into play strongly… We have preachers and followers saying ABORTION is OK. HOMOSEXUALITY is OK. Alters have been removed from some churches. The music is loud with all the flashing lights. Going to church is like getting high and going to a rock concert.

How can I say that, some will say? I was part of that for years that is how. There is a song being played on the radio now that I believe holds up… “That Old Red Back Hymnal by Les Butler From the Album Suits Me Fine hits home with me right now…” I believe in a bunch of churches God has been replaced with the “all mighty dollar”. And I refuse to fall into that trap. Yes there are some new songs that are good. Yes there are some people reaching some that would not be reached.

I just feel like what my new t-shirt says “ I stand for this Flag and I kneel for this Cross! Is It Time To Pick A Side yet? It hurts me when I ask a question like I asked yesterday and get all sorts of “likes” and very few “responses” to the question. And it is not because I am into responses it is because our Country is going to hell and we are standing by and watching it… IT IS TIME FOR Joshua 24:14-15 (NKJV) 14 “Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of [The Euphrates] the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of [The Euphrates] the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

I do pray this prayer today believing that some will turn and see, and or, hear what I am trying to say. Let us be all our Father desires us to be. Let us not let this Godly nation be swallowed up by our enemy. Let us take a stand for our Lord and watch James 4:7 (NKJV) Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Let us turn from James 4:17 (NKJV) Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

In the mighty and wonderful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior I do pray this all—AMEN!
