Morning Prayer For Sunday May 12,2019

The Morning Prayer is my fuel for the day and I pray it helps those who read it. I pray that it helps others have a better day. I also pray that it helps bring others closer to our Father in Heaven. We as Christians are equips with all the tools we need. We even have an owners manual it’s called the Bible.

Everything we need is written there for us all we have to do is open it and study it. Our Father, his Son, and even the Holy Spirit or Ghost is there for us. However they will not force us to follow or listen. It is our choice. Our Father desires us to follow Him and it is our choice to do so.

He will not force us we have to want it and desire it. We have to make the choice. A question or a thought just came to mind. How many of us have a good friend? I mean a special person in our lives. A husband, a wife, someone we grew up with, I think you get the idea.

Someone you spend time with a lot of time. Next question how much time do you spend with them? Next, do we spend as much time with our Father, with Jesus, with the Holy Spirit. Did that friend or loved one die for you? Did they give everything up for you and offer you a home of peace and joy for eternity?

I think you get the idea. See Jesus willingly took all they had to give Him for us. He was bruised or beaten for us, by His strips we are healed. He gave his life on that cross at Calvary just for you. I believe if you had been the only person on earth He would have done it just for You.

I have never been loved more that what Jesus did for me. Nor what the Father did for me. I have never had a friend that is closer to me than the Holy Spirit. I do not believe you have either and today I pray that we realize just what they did for each of us. I pray that today we stop and think about the suffering and pain Jesus went through just for us.

Today’s Devotional Scriptures

James 1:16-18 (MEV) 16 Do not err, my beloved brothers. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no change or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.

Matthew 6:1 (MEV) “Be sure that you not do your charitable deeds before men to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven”.
1 John 1:9 (MEV) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
John 14:6 (MEV) Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Matthew 6:25-27 (MEV) 25 “Therefore, I say to you, take no thought about your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they? 27 Who among you by taking thought can add a cubit[a] to his stature?

My prayer today is that we grow in the Love our Father has given us, that we stop and realize what Jesus did so we might have eternal life in Heaven and be with Him and our Father forever. So I now pray this simple prayer in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit–AMEN!
