The Morning prayer started out wrong this morning. So first I need to ask for forgiveness for doing what I said I would not do and that was start reading others comments before praying. So Father forgive me. I promised to start with and do the “Morning Prayer” first and I did not today.

Dirty Laundry
Lord I am not good at displaying dirty laundry however I do not know what else to do. Yes there are a few that help when they can and a few, very few I might add, that help monthly. We are $334 and change behind. There is no more savings. What little we had is gone and now it is all up to You Father. I have no where else to turn…
I was why behind last month and was helped by a very very close and personal friend. And here we are again. Lord HELP is all I can say…
I am as guilty as anyone else trying to figure out what to do and all it has done is got me in deeper. So Lord if I loose it all it is up to You… In 15 days I will turn 75 and I am tired. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I am tired of struggling to make ends meet.
Declaring My Love For The Lord
I love You Lord is what this morning prayer is suppose to be about and that is what it is going to be about. The Sunday night service on the 14th was from the book of James and I think it is worth repeating, or at least the part that got my attention. I am talking to myself and allowing you all to listen and maybe it is about some of you as well…
Scriptures For Today
James 4:7 (MEV) Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Chapter four is James talking to a group and I think it is more like today’s groups of Christians and he speaks, I think harshly in James 4:4 (MEV) You adulterers and adulteresses, do you not know that the friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
This got my attention is a way that has not been there in a VERY long time. We can not be, let us say, one foot in Heaven and one foot in hell. The end of verse says if we are FRIENDS with this world then we are and ENEMY of God. Now that CAN-NOT be any plainer.
Then we read in James 4:5 (MEV) Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “He yearns jealously for the spirit that lives in us”. Now my Bible notes says the source of this is unknown, will I do not think so I think the source of this remark was the Holy Spirit. Because in Exodus 20:5 (MEV) 5 You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of them who hate Me, that is our Father speaking.
So now comes the part that got me going and now I feel is the reason I am where I am right now. Let us look back to where I started with James 4:7 (MEV) Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. First SUBMIT yourselves to God. Not on Sunday morning not even Sunday night and Wednesday night but submit means to me in this verse TOTALLY, COMPLETELY to God.
Now comes the kicker, in verse 7 the first part we read RESIST the devil. The Greek translation to the word RESIST is to STAND STRONG. With that thought let us turn to Ephesians 6:13 (MEV) 13 Therefore take up the WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD that you may be able to RESIST (STAND STRONG) in the evil day, and having done all, to STAND. Again

Now comes the good part of this whole prayer… and HE WILL FEEL FROM YOU. Not MIGHT, not SHOULD… HE WILL FEEL. Period. My question is! IS HE FLEEING FROM US?
Now my response to that question and to my prayer is AM I STANDING STRONG against the enemy and is he fleeing and if he is fleeing is must release my finances and my health and my families health… This is the question each one of you needs to be asking. Then answering honestly!
There is a new owner residing in this body and satan, devil, or whatever other name you might choose

Stealing, bribery, extortion, sloth or laziness at work, defrauding, dishonesty, cheating, gambling, lying, gossiping, slandering, backbiting, spreading rumors, deceit, extortion, railing, slander, defrauding, breaking promises, craftiness, hypocrisy, dishonesty, whisperers, idle words, withhold all of the truth, double-tongued, bragging, boasting, flattery, exaggerating the truth, whining, speaking evil of others.
Murder, anger, hate, enmity, rage, brawling, rioting, striker, unforgiving heart, wrath, unmerciful, dissensions, contentions, clamor, despitefulness, debate, arguing, fighting, abortion, divisions, strife, rivalries, adultery, fornication, sexual immorality, filthy talk, crude joking, whore-mongers, defiling the body, homosexuality, sensuality, impurity, tempting others sexually, inordinate passion, corrupt language, effeminate, pornography, vulgar or crude jokes.
This is just a few points that hit me after reading and looking and thinking. Lord forgive us and Holy Spirit forgive me for ignoring You teach me to listen in the mighty, powerful, righteous, precious and most wonderful name I know, Jesus Christ I do pray—AMEN!
