Morning Prayer For Thursday April 18, 2019

Morning prayer is needed by all Christians in fact we should stay in the prayer mode when we are awake. We are even showed 3 time to pray without ceasing. Acts 12:5, Romans 1:9, and 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Peter was locked up in jail and the people prayed for him without ceasing.

I wonder what would happen if we Christians prayed for our President the same way. Could we Christians change the way things are done by communicating with our Father about what is going on. BELIEVING our Father would hear our prayers and answer, is that not FAITH?

This world is being over run by the enemy and it is like the majority of quote unquote Christians are worried about what team is going to win a stupid game. Professional sports players make millions of dollars to take care of a ball and our military, in some cases give their lives defending us and their families are on food stamps and get a flag for their service.

Being A Christian

Could that be different or should that be different. Churches are closing the doors on Sunday Evening and Wednesday Evenings because people do not have time to go to church. They work hard all day and need their rest. However they will sit and watch TV until 10 or 11.

OH yeah another good one is spending the rent money on lottery tickets hoping to hit it big there. There are 1000’s of losers but only one winner. Jesus died on a cross, nailed to it for you and me and we do not have time to pray, does anyone see a problem there. A while back I asked for people to pick 3 times a day to pray for our President and our country for 1 minute.

Giving And Receiving

How many of us tithe to a ministry that is doing Gods work? How many even just donate to a ministry? Those are simple questions and in Malachi 3 we can read what the word says about robbing our Father. And in verse 10, we see the only place in the Bible that God says test me and see.

I remember a Pastor saying we can not out give God. The more we give the more we get and on and on. There are two kinds of people in a church one is a giver the other is a receiver. A giver can be happy anytime they desire, but a receiver can only be happy when someone gives them something.

I went to do my taxes, the other day, and the accountant said I did not need to worry about it for we have operated in the red for nearly 5 years. In fact I even talked to him about the Ministry and got a few word in about salvation. Not really sure if he is a Christian or not but I will find out.

My Father is and awesome God and He has taken care of Debbie and I. He has put us in a place where the only choice is to trust Him. He has shown Himself to us over and over. Just as I know He will however the old saying not my time but His time.

Living By Faith

Lord, today is a day that you have made and I WILL rejoice and be glad in it. I do live by FAITH and not by SIGHT for You are in charge and You know what is best and how it should be and will be done. I do not understand all the time the whys. But I do trust You and I am learning to do that always. I am not perfect just forgiven and I am thankful for the forgiveness that You have shown me over and over.

James 1:6-8 (MEV) 6 But let him ask in faith, without wavering. For he who wavers is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed with the wind. 7 Let not that man think that he will receive anything from the Lord. 8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

Hebrews 12:4-6 (MEV) 4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed while striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation addressed to you as sons:
“My son, do not despise the discipline from the Lord, nor grow weary when you are rebuked by Him; 6 for whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and scourges every son whom He receives.”

I do pray that we all grow and grow stronger in our faith. I pray for blessings to each one and for the faith of our Lord to be upon each of you in all that you do. In the precious and wonderful name of Jesus I do pray—AMEN!
