Praise our Father, our Lord, our Savior. We are covered and protected we are loved more than we can imagine for He loved us so much that He gave His only Son so that we could be saved. Now if that is not love I have no idea what love is…

Psalm 47:1-4 (NKJV) 1 Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! 2 For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. 3 He will subdue the peoples under us, And the nations under our feet. 4 He will choose our inheritance for us, The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah

As I read this Psalm I thought that again we see the mention of and inheritance for us as we have read in Hebrews 9:15 (NKJV) And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

John Wesley’s commentary on Psalms 47:4 says it this way He will appoint and bestow upon us. Inheritance – The presence and worship, and blessing of God. This God had chosen for the Israelites and resolved to choose or set apart for the Gentiles. Of Jacob – Of the people of Jacob or Israel, who are frequently called Jacob, for these did actually enjoy the presence of God in his sanctuary. Loved – Not for any peculiar worth in them, but for his free love to them, as he declareth.

I also feel that in verse 3, we are told that He will protect us and put the people and nations under our feet. I also believe this is said to those that believe or to put it my way “Totally sold out to our Father”. Remembering that we are told in James 1:5-6 (NKJV) 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

Let me end this with this thought… We all need to seek our own relationship with our Father, have you? We need to be sold out to Jesus in what He gave for us so that we could know we are loved and saved.

Let me end this with this, one of my favorite verses in the Bible Galatians 2:20 (NKJV) I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD…

Hebrews 5:12-14 (NKJV) 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
