The Enemy Meant Bad For Paul And Silas

The enemy thought he would win in Acts 16 (please read) however what he meant for bad our Father used for Good. This is our Lord at work and we all need to understand Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has not changed!

This is about Chapter 16 of the book of Acts, however, the part I am writing about is Acts 16:25-28 (NKJV) 25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. 27 And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. 28 But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”

Our enemy tried to stop Paul and Silas by having them beaten and thrown into prison. However our Lord used what he meant for bad to lead this guard and his family to the Lord. Then on top of that after being beaten and thrown in prison. The magistrates wanted to set them free quietly and Paul refused and demanded, they come themselves and get them out.

If that is not pouring salt in an open wound I do not know what is. This just shows the power of our Lord if we only believe, nothing is impossible.
