An offering for the saints. I am sure I will read this again and again before writing. I know I am lead here for a reason and for that reason I shall study it and see what I am shown.

2 Corinthians 9:10-11 (MEV) 10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and supplies bread for your food will also multiply your seed sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness. 11 So you will be enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which makes us give thanks to God.

Wesley’s Explanatory Notes

He explained verse 10 this way; And he who supplieth seed – Opportunity and ability to help others. And bread – All things needful for your own souls and bodies. Will continually supply you with that seed, yea, multiply it to you more and more. And increase the fruits of your righteousness – The happy effects of your love to God and man. >Isaiah 55:10

Matthew Henry Explanatory Notes

He said it this way; And he who supplieth seed – Opportunity and ability to help others. And bread – All things needful for your own souls and bodies. Will continually supply you with that seed, yea, multiply it to you more and more. And increase the fruits of your righteousness – The happy effects of your love to God and man. >Isaiah 55:10

Understanding The Scripture

However both referred to Isaiah 55:10 (MEV) For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there but water the earth and make it bring forth and bud that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

Reading on to verse 11 so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

What I received here is that the rain and the snow fall from Heaven as does His word. It does not return but waters the earth as does His words water us and makes us grow. I see this plainly in verse 11 our tithes and offerings are water to our souls so that we might prosper… as the rain and snow is to the grass and the trees and the flowers and yes even the weeds. I hope this helps us understand…

Thank you for reading and may God bless and be with you and watch over you. And let us understand, it is time for us to BLESS GOD

2 Corinthians 9:6 (MEV) But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
