There is No FEAR in LOVE

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV) For God has not given us a spirit of FEAR, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
As I started praying this morning I woke with this thought on my mind to pray about. The first message I was one about FEAR of– then a large amount of post were pictures with saying and scripture and saying about FEAR… So I thing the Lord is trying to tell me something or at least the Holy Spirit.
So I thought OK I will. I think we all step into that one time or another well let us talk about it. What do we FEAR here is a few things I thought about and I am sure there is more that can be added: The FEAR of loosing a job, the FEAR of not having enough money, the FEAR of a sickness, the FEAR of loosing a loved one, the FEAR of not saying the right thing and here is a big one the FEAR of dying. OH my there is one that will cause a retreat. Why is it people just do not want to talk about dying? They will talk about any thing and argue their point then someone brings up death and good-bye the room clears out.
The one thing that does not bother me is dying I remember when I had the heart attack, lying in the ambulance I prayed; dear God if You are done with me I am ready to go. If not please put a good doctor in my path. Well that was October 29, 2012. I am still here and I was given a triple bypass and the heart doctor that did the surgery is one of the TOP 10 heart surgeons in American. Now that does not sound to great for Phoenix however it was not Phoenix it was Prescott AZ, I remember back when a friend of mine had a heart attack they had to fly him to Phoenix. So I guess God wasn’t and isn’t done with me yet. However FEAR was not a factor and Debbie was surrounded with people who cared.
That is the secret I do believe that there was all sorts of people from church that brought her to see me and watched over here and there was lots of prayer. Can I be a little frank right here. What is there to be afraid of if one has given it all to God and believe in what Jesus did. I would like to give some scripture here. How about John 3:16-17, or Romans 10:9-10, or Romans 10:13, or Ephesians 2:8,9. or Romans 11:6, or 2 Timothy 1:9 and the list goes on and on and on and on.
1 John 4:18 (NKJV) There is no FEAR in love; but perfect love casts out FEAR, because FEAR involves torment. But he who FEARS has not been made perfect in love. So let us end this devotional here there is no FEAR in love none not any. God loved us so much He gave His only begotten Son so that we might do what? FEAR or LIVE…
